Olga Medvedkova

Born in Moscow in 1963, Olga Medvedkova is an art critic and historian. She studied History of Art at Lomonossov University in Moscow. Having worked as a researcher at Moscow's History of Art Institute, she is now doing research at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris. Co-author of, "L'Art Russe" (Editions Citadelle et Mazenod, Paris 1991) she regularly publishes articles on Russian art of the 18th and 19th centuries in scientific art magazines in Russia and France. She is also art critic for the Parisian magazine, "La Pensee Russe"
