Grigorovich

Watercolors and acrylics by Vladimir Grigorovich, have a unifying theme - houses. Lonely, somewhat dilapidated structures are surrounded by large open spaces and present strange silhouettes on a pale sky. Paintings by Russian emigre-artists, are inevitably seen against the background of American or Western European Art. Comparisons are drawn and classifications made - and in the process many subtle individual characteristics and qualities of these artists are overlooked.
