Rudolf Khatchatrian, Portrait of Yankel Brochsztejn

A Jewish businessman in Warsaw who was killed in
the uprising of the Warsaw Ghetto in 1943. The portraitist, Rudolf Khachatrian,
painted his portrait after studying pre-war photographs and listening, for hours,
about him from the survivors who knew him.
